GUEST LECTURE BY OUR PRINCIPAL Dr.T.SIVAKUMAR Our principal Dr.T.Sivakumar delivered a guest lecture on “Development of New Technology for present and future pharma education” organised by Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Pharmacy, Meeliyat, P.O.Trikaripur, Kasargod, Kerala. This National seminar was attended by more than 200 B.Pharm students. The students and faculty found it interesting and educative, they have expressed their gratitude for spending his valuable time with them. |

WON CASH PRIZE IN NATIONAL LEVEL ESSAY COMPETITION Mr.R.Arun, B.Pharm student(Batch 2011-2015), participated in National Level Essay Competition on the subject: “From Bench to Bedside – Perceptional Change in A Pharmacist’s role” organised by Indian pharmaceutical Association, ranked third place, received a cash prize and certificate on the eve of National Pharmacy Week Celebration on 22nd, November, 2014 at 6.30 pm, Mylapore, Chennai- 600 004 in presence of Dr.V.K.Subburaj, I.A.S, Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals Ministry of chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, New Delhi, Dr. J. Radhakrishnan I.A.S, Secretary to Govt Health and Family Welfare Department, Tamilnadu. The function was felicitated by Thiru. S. V. Veerramani, President – IDMA and Chairman Tamilnadu Pharmaceutical Sciences Welfare Trust, Guests of Honour was Prof. K. Chinnaswamy, President, Pharmacy Council, Tamilnadu, Thiru. S. Abdul Khadar, Director of Drugs Control, Tamilnadu, Dr. S. Manivannan, Deputy Drugs Controller(I) CDSCO, South Zone. The theme lecture was delivered by Thiru. J. Jayaseelan, Secretary IPA Tamilnadu.
